So, What's the Story With Vampire Diaries' Matt Davis Being a Creep, Allegedly?
It would appear that the Alaric actor made his co-stars uncomfortable.
While the main trio of actors from The Vampire Diaries are still fondly remembered by fans of the immensely popular supernatural romantic drama series, some of the supporting cast members have faded from the public eye since the show's conclusion in 2017. However, fans are still talking about some of them and not in a good way. Take Matt Davis, for example, who portrayed the vampire hunter Alaric Saltzman: fans still remember him, but not in a good way.
Although the actor was never accused of inappropriate behaviour by his co-stars, fans couldn't help but sense something was off about Davis from the moment he appeared on the show. Davis is a talented actor, and his portrayal of Alaric was memorable in many respects, but his off-screen antics raised many eyebrows.
Fans still recall The Vampire Diaries' Comic-Con event from years ago, when Davis made many people uncomfortable by draping his arm around Nina Dobrev. It was evident that the actress was uncomfortable, and Paul Wesley gave Davis a stern look to tell him he had better keep his hands to himself.
That wasn't the only time Davis had acted inappropriately; there were plenty of weird comments and questionable actions that made him come across as a complete jerk.
'He's just a creepy dude who proudly presents a bunch of red flags... God knows what else he's said or done and I'm sure (despite me not knowing for sure) that there's some drama between him and Danielle Rose Russell too…' a fan said.
Moreover, it looks like Davis' behaviour may have completely derailed his career, seeing how he's not been seen in a single big project since Legacies and is probably struggling to land a role in Hollywood. With a net worth of $2 million, Davis is hardly a pauper and can afford not to work, but we doubt if he'll ever attain the same status as Wesely or Dobrev, considering he's now been out of work for over a year and is seen as a total creep by millions of fans around the world.
