Viral TikTok Video Finds Perfect Radcliffe Replacement for Harry Potter TV

The news that HBO Max is rebooting the Harry Potter franchise as a seven-season TV series came as a pleasant shock to millions of fans around the world who have been hoping for a reimagining of their beloved saga. While it would be wonderful to step back into the halls of Hogwarts, people are worried about the cast choices, wondering if the new generation of actors will be able to compete with the likes of Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint.

However, thanks to a viral TikTok, it looks like the main trio of actors are not only approved by most fans, but they are also one hundred percent accurate to the books!

It seems that HBO is already courting some of the young actors for the iconic roles, and the early buzz is just great, to say the least. According to the TikTok, Toby Woolf, who recently shined in FX's Pistol, is in talks to play the new iteration of Harry Potter, a role that will surely make the boy a superstar in a matter of seconds.

Bronte Carmichael, known for her performances in Christopher Robin, Game of Thrones, and Andor, is rumored to be playing Hermione, while Joshua Pickering of Peter Pan & Wendy is said to have been asked to play Ron.

None of these kids are huge celebrities at the moment, but given their extensive acting experience, most people believe that the scoop could indeed be true. And though fans are not sure if this trio of actors will surpass the original, the potential is certainly there.

While the first part of the TikTok was completely realistic, fans took offense at some of the other casting rumors, arguing that the idea of seeing Adam Driver as Severus Snape and Helen Mirren as Minerva McGonagall is highly unlikely, as the busy actors won't be able to commit to a seven-season show.
