2027 rom-com pairs Jennifer Lawrence with the No Hard Feelings director

A dating dilemma with a built‑in clock is at the heart of One Month Mark: a woman who’s never made it past 30 days with a partner crosses paths with a man who’s never gone longer than a month without one. That’s the hook of Jennifer Lawrence’s next comedy, which will reunite her with No Hard Feelings director Gene Stupnitsky.

The romantic comedy is set up at Apple Original Films and Chernin Entertainment. According to Deadline, Stupnitsky is in final negotiations to direct, with Lawrence attached to star and produce through her Excellent Cadaver banner. The script comes from Sophie Fleur de Bruijn, with Peter Chernin and David Ready producing for Chernin.

It’s a quick-turn reunion after Lawrence’s loose, rowdy turn in No Hard Feelings, which Stupnitsky directed. The new project reportedly drew strong interest even before Lawrence boarded, per Deadline.

Hunger Games on Hulu

While Lawrence lines up her next comedy, her breakout franchise is shifting streamers. All four original The Hunger Games movies starring Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen are moving to Hulu on October 14, 2026—the same day they leave Netflix. Hulu’s official schedule lists the titles arriving together.

• The Hunger Games
• The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
• The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
• The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

Those films also feature Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks alongside Lawrence.

All four original Hunger Games movies hit Hulu October 14, 2026—day-and-date with their Netflix exit.

The timing lines up with Lawrence’s return to Panem in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 20, 2026.
