Im Si-wan (Siwan)
Siwan is by far the most popular among the new cast members joining Squid Game. He was primarily known as a member of his K-Pop group ZE:A until it was disbanded in 2017. Yang Dong-geun
Yang Dong-geun has been acting in movies and TV series since 1987, making a name for himself with hit projects like Address Unknown and Fighter in the Wind. He is also popular for his rap career, releasing songs and performing live under his YDG moniker.
Park Sung-hoon
Although Park Sung-hoon has only starred in one movie in his decade-long career, he is certainly one of the busiest TV actors in Korea right now, surprising fans with his versatility on an annual basis. Famous for playing villains, Park will certainly bring some spice to the second season of Squid Game.
Kang Ha-neul
Critics' darling Kang Ha-neul is widely regarded as one of the brightest young actors in his home country, as his performances in projects like When the Camellia Blooms, Twenty, and Curtain Call have won him a number of important Korean awards.
