Derek Hough Had a Lot to Say About Tyra Banks' Dancing With The Stars Exit
It looks like the judge was not surprised by Banks' exit.

However, not everyone is willing to commit to the project for the long haul, as supermodel Tyra Banks recently proved when she left her hosting duties after just three seasons on the show.
While fans and producers were shocked to hear of Banks' departure, it looks like former professional dancer and judge Derek Hough was not surprised at all.
In a recent interview, the fan-favorite judge talked a lot about Tyra Banks, crediting her as an integral part of the show's success. However, Hough also noted that the supermodel's busy schedule left him unsure of her full commitment to Dancing with the Stars.
'I wouldn't say that it was surprising. She's got a lot on her plate and a lot of things happening in her future. She's one person that will always work and will always be an entrepreneur and always create opportunities. And she's a powerhouse,' Hough said.
It looks like there is no bad blood between the former host and the judge, as Hough was really delicate while talking about Banks' exit from the show. In line with what the judge said in the interview, Tyra announced that her departure from the reality show was due to her future entrepreneurial endeavors, which demand more and more of her time each year.
And in fact, Hough can't complain about Banks leaving her hosting duties, as Disney+ has announced that his own sister, Julianne, will replace her as host for the upcoming Season 32. Julianne was previously a professional dancer on the show, and Derek is reportedly very excited to be reunited with his younger sister on the set. Fans are expecting the duo to light up the stage with some sibling banter and perfect chemistry later this year.
While Disney+ has yet to reveal the release date for Dancing with the Stars Season 32, word is that the show will arrive on small screens sometime this fall.
