Cars Is 20, and Disney Spent More on One Ride Than Pixar Spent on the Film
Cars is back in cinemas for its twentieth anniversary, which it is having three months late, on a date chosen because Lightning McQueen's race number is 95. It was the first Pixar film critics turned on. It is also the reason Disney spent $200 million on a single theme park ride and is currently demolishing a chunk of Magic Kingdom that has stood since 1971.

Nobody Knows Who the Next James Bond Is, Including the People Reporting It
Gary Oldman says the next James Bond has been picked. Puck says screen tests have not happened yet. Steven Knight, who wrote the film, says he cannot speak about it. Meanwhile the "shortlist of six" everyone is quoting came from one tabloid story, and the only actor a trade has confirmed actually auditioned is somebody nobody is writing about.

Supergirl Hits HBO Max Two Days After Warner Bros. Sells You the Disc

The Housemaid Made $400M on $35M. Here Is Everyone Now Cast in the Sequel.
Stephen Kalyn has closed a deal to join The Housemaid's Secret, which now has Sydney Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow and Paul Anthony Kelly, with Paul Feig directing again. Lionsgate has it dated for December 17, 2027 — two years after a $35M thriller turned into a $400M one.
