'I would love to see him show up at Liv's apartment in January after being away so long, we finally see a first kiss, and then we could spend the next few months witnessing Olivia Benson actually be happy with a significant other,' a fan said.

'What I think is more likely is the final scene, walk-off-into-the-sunset together. Which would be unsatisfying, but infinitely better than those rumours that Stabler will get killed off in the end,' another fan argued.
