The cast of Outlander: Blood of My Blood has just been announced.
As Outlander fans look forward to the second half of Season 7, which is set to be released later this year, some exciting news has just come to light regarding the beloved show.
A new spin-off titled Outlander: Blood of My Blood, is said to be in the works at Starz. While details about the prequel are being kept under wraps, it has been announced that the ten-episode series will follow Claire and Jamie's parents as they travel to start their respective families in WWI England and 18th century Scotland.

Harriet Slater as Ellen MacKenzie
You may have seen this young English actress in Disney's biggest 2023 flop, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, where she played Fran. But she's better known for her roles in Pennyworth, where she portrayed Sandra Onslow, and the recent MGM+ outing, Belgravia: The Next Chapter. Harriet Slater has also appeared in episodes of All Creatures Great and Small.
Now the twenty-nine-year-old has been cast as a young version of Jamie Fraser's mother.

Unlike the previous actress, Jamie Roy doesn't have any popular projects under his belt, but his acting credits are still impressive. Over the years, the thirty-one-year-old Scottish actor has appeared in many films and series. His most recent credits include Condor's Nest, Squeaky Clean Mysteries: Hazardous Duty, Your Boyfriend Is Mine and Burning Lies.
Roy will portray Jamie's father in his youth.
Hermione Corfield as Julia Moriston
The British actress has an impressive resume with roles in both niche and blockbuster films, including Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, XXX: Return of Xander Cage, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Born a King. On television, Hermione Corfield's most prominent role was in the British crime drama We Hunt Together, where she portrayed one of the main characters.
Cornfield will play a young version of Claire's mother.
