Were DWTS Judges Too Kind to Rylee and Harry Latin Night's Performance?
The fans get a little frustrated.
Although Dancing with the Stars Season 32 got off to a controversial start when Veep actor Matt Walsh was eliminated from the competition in the first episode, even though he and his partner clearly tried their best and looked much better than other competitors, the show seems to have gotten back on track with the second episode.
Most of the performances in the Latin Night episode looked thoughtful and beautiful, and fans were generally impressed with the costumes and song choices. However, one couple managed to leave fans a little disappointed - Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold.
A bad pairing
While the Too Hot to Handle star looks gorgeous and has a huge online following, he certainly lacks the talent to really impress on the dance floor. And although many past DWTS contestants have been able to impress the judges and viewers without any dancing skills, as their personalities and willingness to get better at dancing helped them rise to the top, it looks like the same can't be said for Harry.
In his second dance with Rylee, Harry looked even more stiff and jaded than he did in the premiere episode, which really bothered the fans. It was clear that he hadn't practiced much, forcing his partner to do most of the heavy lifting.
And Rylee was simply glorious on the dance floor, wowing the fans with insane moves and total control of her body. Too bad she was paired with a vibe-killer like Harry.
Judges were unfair
Although Harry looked like a total wreck on the dance floor, fans were shocked to see that the judges gave him and Rylee a lot of fives, which just made no sense. Yes, Rylee was phenomenal, but her partner was abysmal, so seeing such high scores made fans wonder if the judges' decision was fair.
Of course, DWTS is a reality show first and foremost, and it's only natural that producers try to keep the most popular contestants around for as long as possible, but it looks like fans are going to riot if Harry continues to get such high scores.
