Fans are already expecting to cry their eyes out.

Even though Netflix's Heartstopper is largely seen as a feel-good show because the romance between Nick and Charlie has already made so many people happy, it still features a lot of heartstopping moments, just like any other teen drama.

And while nothing particularly depressing happened in the first two seasons it looks like the already announced Season 3 will really try to make fans cry, possibly by adapting a famous scene from Alice Oseman's original graphic novels.

Charlie's Confession

Any fans who actually read the original Heartstopper know how important the next season of the show will be for Nick and Charlie's future, as Charlie will finally get over himself and do something truly heartbreaking.

Don't worry, Charlie is not going to leave Nick and cheat on him, on the contrary, he is going to finally confess something important to his parents in a move that will define his life and his relationship with Nick.

It's no secret that Charlie has been struggling with an eating disorder since Season 1, but he's always been very protective of that secret, sharing it only with his closest friends. However, the time to tell his parents about his problems will likely come in the upcoming season, and the original graphic novel certainly proves how heartbreaking this scene will be.

Charlie is afraid to tell his parents about his disorder, so Nick helps him write the monologue for his parents, and the scene where he reads it, fighting back tears, is truly the saddest moment in Heartstopper.

And knowing what a great actor Joe Locke is, fans are sure he will nail this scene and make millions of people around the world cry in unison with him.
