Tina Knowles' Net Worth Made Her a Tempting Target for Home Burglars

Tina Knowles, best known as the mother of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, is also an accomplished fashion designer who collaborates with her daughters on several fashion lines. Given her success, it's little surprise that Tina has a substantial net worth, making her financially independent of her celebrity daughters so she doesn't have to tiptoe around them for fear that they might cut off her stipend. According to the LAPD, Tina's luxurious estate was recently broken into. The burglars found Tina's safe and just carried off the whole thing instead of attempting to break into it on-site. A member of Tina's entourage later discovered the safe. Fortunately, The fashion designer was not home when the burglary occurred.
The safe apparently contained well over $1 million in cash and jewellery, all of which was gone when the safe was retrieved. It's not as if the burglary left Tina a pauper, but its impact will surely be felt.
As of 2023, Tina Knowles is reported to be worth $25 million. She made most of it from her successful clothing lines House of Deréon and Miss Tina. While Tina's daughters undoubtedly support their mother, it's unlikely that their financial contributions are included in her official net worth.
The recent burglary certainly put a dent in Tina's net worth, as a million dollars is a significant amount, even for someone worth dozens of millions, like Beyonce's mother. But then again, chances are Tina's jewellery will likely have been ensured, so she'll probably be able to recoup at least some of the loss.
Fans hope the CCTV system at Tina's estate was working on the day of the burglary, and the footage it caught will help the LAPD to track down and apprehend the perpetrators and eventually recover the stolen money and jewellery as soon as possible.
Regardless, everyone is relieved Tina was not home when the break-in happened, as nothing good would have happened if the perpetrators had run into her.
