Not everything is as bad as it seems.

Without a doubt, Virgin River is one of the most popular melodramas in Netflix's library right now, and after a rather mediocre last season, fans are more than sure that the upcoming Season 5 will fix the mistakes of the previous installment by introducing more action, plot twists, and good old-fashioned romance to the show.

Fortunately, the recently released trailer proves the fans right, as the amount of captivating storylines is apparently doubled compared to the previous seasons.

But even though the trailer looks great and promises a lot of interesting things, people are still disappointed about one thing — Netflix's decision to split Season 5 into two parts, with one being released on September 7 and the second arriving on November 30.

It's only natural that fans are upset about waiting more than two months to see the final two holiday-themed episodes of Season 5, but it looks like the wait might actually be worth it.

It is no secret that Mel and Jack are expecting a baby, and their plans for a long-awaited wedding will surely become a reality in the upcoming season. Of course, Netflix's decision to make us wait until November to see the couple exchange vows is harsh on the fans, but we have just two words to reassure you… Christmas wedding!

Yes, it looks like Netflix's producers decided to split the season in two to perfectly frame the much anticipated event. Imagine how beautiful it would be to see Jack and Mel get married during Christmas, with snow covering the forest and the sleepy town…

Needless to say, some fans aren't willing to wait two whole months for that and argue that the producers should have prepared something more interesting than a wedding to justify splitting the season in two.

'I hope they don't make us wait for the series finale. I hope to see [Jack and Mel] navigate life together as a committed married couple… like in the books. That doesn't mean they have to be boring. They can still have their drama that they overcome together,' a fan commented.
