Where are our favorite werewolves, banshees, kitsune, and hunters now?

In 2011, teens all over the globe were instantly captivated by MTV's Teen Wolf. And it's no wonder because the teen drama had this special relatable and exciting charm to it: in one scene, we would empathize with the characters not wanting to go to school, and the next moment, we'd follow another epic battle with the supernatural. Seriously, what could be more compelling for a teenager than a supernatural coming-of-age drama?

Teen Wolf had it all — action-packed scenes, hilarious dialogue, and fascinating intrigue — so when the show ended in 2017, fans hoped for a revival and were happy when Teen Wolf: The Movie was released in January 2023 (though sadly, without Dylan O'Brien). Let's see how the beloved cast members have changed over the years and what they're up to now.

Tyler Posey (Scott McCall)

Teen Wolf made Tyler Posey a big name in Hollywood. After the show ended, he had a recurring role in the comedy-drama Jane the Virgin and Now Apocalypse, and starred in the third season of the anthology series Scream. Tyler is also a voice actor, landing his voice to several animated characters.

Besides being an actor, Posey is also a pop-punk musician who has released albums both under his own name and as part of the band Five North. The actor is in a relationship with singer Phem, whom he met in February 2023. According to Posey, she helped him realize that he was queer and sexually fluid.

Dylan O'Brien (Stiles Stilinski)

Dylan O'Brien was one Teen Wolf cast member whose career really took off after the project. Post-Teen Wolf, he appeared mainly on the big screen, including in the action thriller American Assassin opposite Michael Keaton. Also, O'Brien voiced Bumblebee in the film of the same name and later returned to his role as Thomas in The Death Cure, the last movie of the Maze Runner trilogy.

After that, O'Brien starred in the experimental thriller Flashback and the adventure film Love and Monsters. He also played the male lead in Taylor Swift's debut movie, All Too Well: The Short Film, and participated in the crime drama The Outfit.

Crystal Reed (Allison Argent)

Crystal Reed, who played the lead archer and werewolf hunter of Beacon Hills and Scott's first love, stunned fans with her surprise appearance in the Teen Wolf movie. After the show, she played villainous Sofia Falcone in the fourth season of Gotham, as well as Abby Arcane, the title character's partner, in DC's Swamp Thing. Reed also starred in the 2018 horror film Ghostland.

Holland Roden (Lydia Martin)

Holland Roden, who starred in Teen Wolf as Beacon Hills' most ingenious person and Allison's close friend, went on to pursue a career in the horror genre after the show ended. She appeared in the horror anthology series Lore and Channel Zero, as well as the feature film No Escape.

Tyler Hoechlin (Derek Hale)

Tyler Hoechlin, who played the elderly werewolf Derek, is now best known for his role as Clark Kent, aka Superman, and has appeared in nearly every Arrowverse show, besides starring in 2021's Superman & Lois. The actor has also appeared on the big screen, including in the comedy-drama Bigger, Fifty Shades Freed, and the critically acclaimed and award-winning Palm Springs.

Arden Cho (Kira Yukimura)

Arden Cho's character is remembered for her charming charisma and touching dynamic with Scott. After leaving the show, the actress landed one of the lead roles in the comedy series Tween Fest, which is still airing today, as well as in the musical drama film Stuck. She has also appeared in the series Miss 2059, Chicago Med, and Partner Track.

Cho's upcoming project is the TV adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, where she played powerful bounty hunter June.

Colton Haynes (Jackson Whittemore)

Jackson, a high school bully who had friction with Scott and Still, shocked the fans with his coming out and announcing he was in a relationship with another werewolf. Unfortunately, we did not see much of the character after Season 2, as Colton Haynes effectively left the project, apparently because he was being paid less than the other cast members.

However, the departure from Teen Wolf helped Haynes gain traction in his career, as he soon landed the role of Arsenal on the superhero show Arrow, a cameo in Scream Queens, and a recurring role on American Horror Story.

Shelley Hennig (Malia Tate)

After Teen Wolf, the coyote-werewolf actress starred in the legal drama Roman J. Israel, Esq. opposite Denzel Washington and Colin Farrell, as well as in the rom-com When We First Met with Adam DeVine and Alexandra Daddario.

In 2022, Shelley Henning appeared in the dark comedy miniseries The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, and her most recent series, Obliterated, is set to premiere on Netflix on November 30.
