The List of Final 6 Survivor 44 Contestants: Who Went Home in Episode 11?
It looks like an all-female finale might still happen!
The 44th season of the hit reality show Survivor is coming to an end, and with only six contestants left, it may seem that the days of male winners are now officially over.
Since the COVID restrictions delayed Survivor and forced the producers to tweak the show's formula a little, every season has been won by a female contestant, except for Season 43 when Mike Gabler swept the floor with the other survivors.
But can another woman win this season?
After the elimination of Danny Massa in the last episode, we're now left with two male and four female contestants fighting for the win in Season 44. Here are all six survivors still in the game this season:
- Carolyn Wiger
- Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt
- Jaime Lynn Ruiz
- Lauren Harpe
- Yamil 'Yam Yam' Arocho
- Carson Garrett
Even though an all-female final may still be in play, fans are not so sure, arguing that Yam Yam is too strong of a competitor to lose. In last week's challenge, he once again proved himself to be a force to be reckoned with, crushing the competition with ease. Of course, Yam Yam can still be voted off the show, but considering that he's friends with almost every remaining player and is a genuinely good person, it is highly unlikely.
Also, it looks like the girls' camp is having trouble sticking together. Last week's vote was quite controversial, as Jaime and Lauren decided to vote for Heidi's elimination for no apparent reason. Heidi has managed to survive the vote, painting Jaime and Lauren as real villains, but this makes her a suitable candidate for elimination in the next episode.
All in all, while the male contestants are outnumbered, their chances of winning the trophy are significantly higher than the female survivors', as their physical prowess and voting decisions could take them all the way to the finale.
Although an all-female finale may not happen, one of the girls is sure to go head-to-head with some of the men in the finale, possibly even winning it all.
