Jeremy Renner is officially back in action.

Paramount+ has set October 26, 2025, for the return of Mayor of Kingstown, with Season 4 premiering with a two-episode drop before moving to weekly releases. The new season runs for 10 episodes and finished production earlier this year after filming kicked off in January.

Season 4 details at a glance:

  • Premiere: October 26, 2025, on Paramount+
  • Two episodes at launch, then weekly drops
  • 10 episodes total
  • Filming wrapped in the first half of 2025

The new season finds Mike McLusky (Renner) facing fallout from the Russian mafia's elimination in Season 3. With a power vacuum tearing Kingstown apart, rival gangs are set to ignite a violent turf war. Adding to the pressure is Anchor Bay's incoming prison warden Nina Hobbs, played by Edie Falco, whose arrival threatens to upend what little order remains.

Alongside Renner and Falco, the main cast includes Hugh Dillon as Ian Ferguson, Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky, Tobi Bamtefa as Bunny Washington, Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert Sawyer, Derek Webster as Stevie, Nishi Munshi, and Laura Benanti as Cindy Stephens. New faces for Season 4 include Lennie James as gangster Frank Moses and Clayton Cardenas as Deputy Warden Torres.

Season 3 closed with a wave of violence: Milo Sunter was killed by Mike, Iris overdosed, and Kareem died in a prison ambush. Meanwhile, Kyle was arrested for murder after shooting at Robert — setting up a McLusky family implosion that Season 4 will carry forward.

Co-creator Hugh Dillon teased just how far the show is prepared to push things this time. "This season is a detonation, not an escalation," he told Entertainment Weekly. "The blade's sharper. The cuts go deeper."

Sheridan's TV empire keeps rolling

Created by Taylor Sheridan and Dillon, the series counts Sheridan, Renner, and Antoine Fuqua among its executive producers. Dave Erickson serves as showrunner, with production handled by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Mayor of Kingstown will slot into Paramount+'s expanding Sheridan-verse, arriving between Tulsa King Season 3 and Landman Season 2. And despite its reputation as one of the grimmest shows on streaming, the message is clear: Mayor of Kingstown isn't going anywhere.
