The List of All Netflix Shows Renewed for Season 2 in 2023

Netflix's library is certainly impressive. The number of original documentaries, reality shows and feature series seems limitless. The streaming giant has never been afraid to experiment, greenlighting offbeat and auteur projects. Some of these originals have found enough public recognition and love to be renewed, and others have sadly failed to do so.

In 2023 alone, Netflix has canceled over two dozen titles, including some hot ones like 1899 and Lockwood & Co. While the decision to cut them short disappointed fans, the studio explained that it was all about balancing expenses and profits.

Fortunately, many more shows have been picked up after their premiere seasons. In 2023, Netflix greenlit about five dozen second seasons for both English language and non-English language shows, including hits like the much-discussed One Piece, the Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring FUBAR, Ryan Murphy's Monster, and the Korean zombie story All of Us Are Dead.

Most of these shows are expected to land on the streaming platform sometime in 2024, but the Hollywood strikes have slowed down many productions, so some premieres may be pushed back to 2025. Either way, it's always good to know that your favorite is definitely coming back.
