The List of 7 Biggest Celebrity Cameos in The Bear Season 2
The Bear Season 2 is overflowing with stellar names.
On June 22, Hulu launched a new season of The Bear. After Carmy and Richie find Mikey's last gift, a neatly hidden impressive sum of money, the team's game changes dramatically as they set out to open a new restaurant. Trying to establish their restaurant as more than just a casual eatery, the characters face more stress, more chaos, and even more popularity.
And while the stakes for the characters are high, the show itself has also leveled up its cast, boasting some very notable cameos in the new season.
7. Gillian Jacobs
In Episode 6, which takes us back to Christmas 2018, we are finally introduced to Richie's wife (now his ex-wife). The character is played by Gillian Jacobs, known for her roles as Britta in the cult sitcom Community and Mary Jayne Gold in the miniseries Transatlantic.
6. Olivia Colman
Though Richie is still arrogant this season, he realizes his need to hone his cooking skills, so in Episode 7, he goes to a three-star Michelin restaurant run by Chef Terry, portrayed by The Crown star Olivia Colman.
5. Joel McHale
Gillian Jacobs isn't the only Community star to make a cameo on The Bear. Actor and host Joel McHale first appeared in Carmy's flashback back in Season 1 as his former toxic boss at a New York restaurant, and in the current installment, Joel reprises that role.
4. Sarah Paulson
American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson also graced The Bear with her guest appearance, playing another relative of the Berzatto family, cousin Michelle, in Episode 6.
3. Will Poulter
The actor who recently made a name for himself starring as Adam Warlock in the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, appeared in Episode 4, playing an English pastry chef in Copenhagen.
2. Bob Odenkirk
One of the most unexpected guest appearances was that of the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star, Bob Odenkirk. In the stressful and anxiety-inducing flashback in Episode 6, Odenkirk plays Uncle Lee, a member of the Berzatto family who was present at Christmas 2018.
1. Jamie Lee Curtis
But the one star who definitely stole the show was the legendary Jamie Lee Curtis, who played the frantic matriarch of the Berzatto family and Carmy's mother, Donna. She also appeared in the Christmas flashback of Episode 6 and in another small scene.
