It looks like the actor is not keen on shooting the fourth season of the show.

Even though Apple TV's Ted Lasso Season 3 was a bit disappointing in terms of writing quality, fans of the feel-good show were still sad to say goodbye to the beloved characters after the final episode aired on May 31.

Jason Sudeikis made it clear time and again that the third season was going to be the show's last, but people are still hoping that Apple will renew Ted Lasso for a fourth season. But can that really happen?

It looks like the series' producers keep the cast members in the dark about the answer to that question. Phil Dunster, the actor who played Jamie Tartt, recently revealed that he is clueless about the future of Ted Lasso, just like any other fan of the show. However, Dunster isn't really that sad about the show hitting its end, arguing that there's just too much good TV out there, even without Ted Lasso.

'It's wonderful that people care. It's one of those things where if there was to be anything more — which I don't know, nobody knows if there will be — so long as it's done with integrity that's the thing that everybody cares about. No one wants more for the sake of it,' Dunster added.

Although the main show is now over, that doesn't mean fans will never see some of the characters again. Rumors of possible Ted Lasso spin-offs have been swirling since the final episode came out last month, and even the show's cast members have entertained the idea.

While it's impossible to say for sure what this mysterious spin-off might be about, some people believe that Apple TV will produce a series following AFC Richmond after Ted's departure, with Nate Shelley, Roy Kent, Coach Beard, and Jamie Tartt serving as the ensemble show's main characters. Another idea is that the spin-off will be focused primarily on one or two supporting characters, for example, Rebecca and Keeley's struggle to create a new women's soccer team at Richmond.

Hopefully, Apple TV will soon reveal its plans for the future of Ted Lasso.
