Survivor 44 Player Predicted All-Female Final 3; Let's See How It Holds Up This Far
It looks like a major prediction is still in play for the current season.
CBS' Survivor has been one of the most popular reality competition series for more than two decades, and though its quality seems to have dropped in recent seasons, there's still no other similar show to compete with it.
Season 44 started off strong, but it's obviously not the best installment in the show's history.
However, this may still change in the future, as a bold prediction from one of the contestants can come true, making the current season a real record-setter.
Before the season started, Entertainment Weekly asked the contestants to make some predictions about how this season would go, and Maddy Pomilla came up with the best possible scenario, which some fans early on thought was wishful thinking.
'I think we are going to have an all-female final three this season. I feel it in my bones. I am so excited for it,' Pomilla said.
Unfortunately for Pomilla herself, she won't be part of this final trio as she was the first contestant to be voted out this season. However, that doesn't mean that her prediction wasn't correct, as all of the other girls have performed exceptionally well, putting their male co-stars to shame.
Out of the nine remaining contestants, five are female, which makes the chances of an all-female final three very likely.
Also, fans seem to love female castaways much more than male ones this season, with Heidi and Frannie being the clear frontrunners. While all-female final three have been unprecedented in Survivor history, it looks like this season may finally change that infamous tradition and make the finale much more exciting to watch.
There are still people who are not sure if this prediction can possibly come true, arguing that an all-female finale can't happen unless the producers interfere with the show — and fans certainly wouldn't want that.
Survivor Season 44 Episode 9 'Under the Wing of a Dragon' will arrive on CBS on April 26, 2023.
