Survivor 44 Fans Agree Jamie & Lauren's Votes Made Zero Sense in Episode 11
Two contestants have jumped the shark with their unwise decision.
While Survivor 44 has not been the best in years, with fans lambasting the first part of the season for poor-quality challenges and a whole lot of scripted moments, the show seems to have recovered in recent episodes.
Now that there are just six survivors left, the season is finally coming into its own, as the fight for three spots in the grand finale will be a tough one for any competitor.
However, it looks like two of the remaining castaways have already ruined their chances of taking home the prize.
From the very first episode, the Tika tribe showed an insane game, winning challenge after challenge and crushing their competition. No wonder that two of the strongest contestants in the Top 6, Yamil 'Yam Yam' Arocho and Carolyn Wiger, are from Tika. Obviously, two other tribes needed to join forces and try to oust the Tika members from the competition, but somehow Jaime Lynn Ruiz and Lauren Harpe failed to get that important memo.
During last week's vote, Jaime and Lauren inexplicably sided with the Tika tribe and decided to vote out Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt. While their plan failed and Danny Massa was eliminated instead, fans still felt that Jaime and Lauren had made a grave mistake that put their entire future on the show in question.
Viewers are sure that Tika is completely controlling the game right now, forcing other tribes to sacrifice their own without even realizing it.
'From what I understand Tika told them to vote for Heidi and they did. Tika threw three votes on Danny and if Danny played an idol, it would have been Heidi gone. They are just votes controlled by Tika at this point,' one fan summed up.
It looks like Jaime and Lauren just painted themselves as the weakest contestants in the Top 6, and Tika will totally shred them in the upcoming episodes, as Yamil and Carolyn are just too powerful to be stopped. Fans should brace themselves for a bombastic finale in which Tika will reign supreme.
Survivor Season 44 Episode 12 will arrive on CBS on May 17, 2023.
