The beloved show has only one problem.

Apple TV+ has proven itself as the best streaming service for fans of auteur and original filmmaking, releasing unique and challenging shows like Severance, Pachinko, and Shining Girls over the past few years.

However, it looks like this year's dystopian drama Silo has managed to top all of those earlier hits.

The story of an underground civilization and one woman's quest to find the truth about the upper world has really captured the attention of viewers with insane suspense, great acting performances, and an unnerving plot twist. But there's still one thing bothering fans ahead of the highly anticipated second season.

While nothing bad can be said about the performances of Rebecca Ferguson, Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, and Tim Robbins, one cast member has managed to stir up quite a bit of controversy with his work in Silo — rapper Common. Although he's been acting for quite some time and received a lot of positive press for his roles in Wanted, The Hate U Give, and All About Nina, Common's portrayal of security chief Robert Sims apparently disappointed many viewers.

Of course, Common did not completely ruin every scene he was in, as other cast members carried him with their acting skills, but his weird mannerisms pulled some people out of their immersion.

'His overacting is just so apparent that he sticks out in almost every scene. And I figured out what's the worst part, it's his damn line delivery. Every single line is delivered like a speech, or he just places weird emphasis in random parts of the sentence. It's so unnatural I don't know how no one pointed this out in the production,' one fan complained.

However, not all fans agree that Common was the worst part of Silo: some actually argue that his strange line delivery helped to make his character feel more realistic.

'I think he works as the not-too-bright but overly ambitious security lead, warped by the internal Silo culture he's grown up within. He's simple, menacing, and bombastic, and for me that's what I expect from his character,' another fan argued.
