She Played Kandi on Two And A Half Men; See April Bowlby Now at 43

Some actors are more famous than others in the sense that we hear their names more often and more people recognise them. However, even less celebrated actors will usually have a loyal following and one or two big projects to their name.
That's certainly the case with April Bowlby.
April Bowlby has enjoyed a moderately successful career in Hollywood, featuring in numerous renowned TV shows and films. She debuted in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2004. After that, it took her a while to secure her next big role on CBS's hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men. The actress portrayed Kandi Harper, one of Alan's ex-wives, in seasons 3 and 4. Intriguingly, the character was initially slated to be written off after just one episode, but Bowlby's performance made quite an impression on both the producers and the audience. As a result, Kandi became a regular in season 4. Later, April reprised the role in the tenth and twelfth seasons.
That was followed by guest appearances in a myriad of other shows, including How I Met Your Mother, Mom, and The Big Bang Theory. More notably, the actress starred in Drop Dead Diva alongside Brooke Elliott from Sweet Magnolias. In 2018, Bowlby appeared on Titans as Rita Farr – a role she reprised in the spin-off Doom Patrol from 2019 to 2023.
Today, April is not involved in any new or ongoing projects. She is, however, actively participating in street rallies with other members of SAG-AFTRA. She recently posted a photo from an unusual reunion with Jon Cryer, who played her ex-husband on Two and a Half Men, during a strike.
Regarding her personal life, April just celebrated her forty-third birthday on 30 July. She is raising a child with her longtime partner, Matthew Cooke, and relishing a laid-back life and motherhood. April looks so stunning that one might wonder if she has aged a day. She frequently updates her fans on developments in her life and posts photos on Instagram.
