At the 46th annual Razzies, Ice Cube's War of the Worlds crashes to Worst Picture as Disney Snow White and Rebel Wilson also take home dubious honors.

Another year, another pile of golden raspberries. The 46th Razzie Awards have crowned their champs of cinematic pain, and one title lapped the field: Prime Video's War of the Worlds. If you love a spectacular misfire, clear your weekend.

War of the Worlds steamrolls the ceremony

War of the Worlds walked in with six nominations and walked out with five actual trophies: Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Ice Cube), Worst Director (Rich Lee), Worst Remake/Rip-Off/Sequel, and Worst Screenplay (Kenny Golde and Marc Hyman). The only category it missed was Screen Combo, which, honestly, is kind of impressive given one nominee was literally "Ice Cube & His Zoom Camera."

"Utterly destroying H.G. Wells' classic novel, director Rich Lee (maybe inspired by Ed Wood) chose a goofy gimmick, hack dialogue and a particularly hilarious performance by its lead, Ice Cube, to seize 2025's biggest number of statues," the organizers said.

And yes, this kind of high-profile flaming wreck tends to do numbers. Expect a surge of hate-watches and group texts asking, "Did you see this shot on purpose?"

Disney's Snow White takes a different kind of bow

Snow White picked up its own special brand of heat when the Razzies targeted the film's CG stand-ins for the seven dwarfs, handing them Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Combo.

"It cost a fortune and lost a fortune, perhaps cursed by Walt himself for having ignored his dying wish for it never to be remade," they said of the "all seven artificial dwarves."

Other lowlights

Rebel Wilson landed Worst Actress for the action-comedy Bride Hard, and Scarlet Rose Stallone nabbed Worst Supporting Actress for the western Gunslingers. Not exactly a wide spread this year: with War of the Worlds hogging the spotlight, plenty of nominees ducked out with only a bruise to their reputation.
