Percy Jackson and the Olympians powers into Season 3 with three fresh recruits — including Star Wars veterans — as Disney+ readies its next quest.

Disney+ is stocking Olympus before Percy Jackson heads into book three. Season 3 is bringing in three new gods, including a pair of familiar faces from that galaxy far, far away.

Where the show stands

Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, the series launched in 2023 and stars Walker Scobell as Percy, with Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover. Season 2 arrived in December 2025. Season 3 is now in the works and will adapt The Titan's Curse, the third book.

Three gods enter the chat

  • Ming-Na Wen is Hera — Queen of Olympus and wife to Zeus (played on the show by Courtney B. Vance). Goddess of marriage and family, regal and very to-the-point. Zeus's wandering eye is a sore spot, and she holds real sway in divine politics thanks to having children who also sit on the Olympian council. Wen is a Disney legend already (the voice of Mulan) and Star Wars fans know her as Fennec Shand from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
  • Jennifer Beals is Demeter — Goddess of agriculture, the harvest, and the life-and-death cycle. A respected sister of Zeus, she remembers the last war with the Titans and will do what it takes to block the return of her father, Kronos (Nick Boraine). Beals also popped up in The Book of Boba Fett.
  • Hubert Smielecki is Apollo — The radiant and charismatic god of the sun, and patron of music, poetry, archery, and prophecy. Think literal golden boy. He is the twin brother of Artemis, the moon to his sun. Smielecki is a newcomer stepping into a very flashy pair of sandals.

What to expect next

The Titan's Curse is where the stakes jump and the family drama gets loud, so these particular gods entering the story is not subtle. Premiere date for Season 3 is still under wraps, but the table-setting here is promising.
