American Idol Season 21 is slowly approaching its finale with only a handful of artists left to compete for the highest honor of being called the next American superstar.

Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie have managed to select a talented group of singers to battle for a spot in the finale, and it's now time to find out which of the remaining eight singers will make it to the next round.

Here are our picks for the Season 21 Top 5.

Wé Ani

We can basically already call her the winner of this season, as Wé's voice, attitude, and stage presence make it clear that this talented young artist is a true superstar in the making. Her latest performance had both the audience and the judges completely enthralled, making her a real frontrunner.

Iam Tongi

The young singer became an instant fan favorite the moment he auditioned, and Iam has continued to perform at the highest level ever since. Though some fans think that Iam is a bit one-note, always playing to his strengths without much experimentation, who said that a singer can't win by sticking to their favorite style? Just look at all the country singers who won in recent years!

Megan Danielle

While Megan may not be considered as exciting as some of the other contestants, she certainly has the most unique voice of them all, which allows her to perform with a tremendous amount of versatility. This draws both viewers and the judges to her, so maybe Megan will outperform her competitors in the next round!

Zachariah Smith

This adorable singer has been the star of this season since his first performance, as he perfectly complements his strong voice with an insane on-stage charisma, which makes the other contestants look like total beginners compared to him. Zachariah may still need to work on his vocals, but with the proper training, he'll be unstoppable.

Oliver Steele

While Katy Perry's decision to save him in the last episode was controversial, we are sure that it will help Oliver shine in this upcoming episode and prove that he totally deserves this second life. This singer's fans believe that he is still capable of turning his entire time on American Idol around and come out on top.
