Not Only The Brutalist: 5 Best Movies and TV Series Starring Adrien Brody

Whether it's Wes Anderson's strange films or M. Night Shyamalan's thrillers, Brody brings an energy to them that few actors have.
Brady Corbet's new film The Brutalist has earned Adrien Brody his second Oscar nomination. At the age of 29, Brody won the Best Actor Oscar for Roman Polanski's The Pianist, where he played musician Władysław Szpilman.
According to Adrien himself, he refused to star in The Hobbit, but agreed to appear in the films presented in this list.

4. The Grand Budapest Hotel, 2014
One of Wes Anderson's most famous films is set in the fictional country of Zubrowka. The main characters, the head concierge of the Grand Budapest Hotel, Monsieur Gustave, and his assistant, Zero Moustafa, embark on a crazy adventure to prove their right to own a priceless painting.

5. The Pianist, 2002
The movie about the life of the outstanding Polish pianist and composer Władysław Szpilman is based on real events. The main character witnesses how during World War II the territory of Poland is occupied by the Nazis and Jews are sent to the Warsaw Ghetto.
Before filming, Brody lost weight in a short period of time and learned to play the piano. To better understand his character, the actor temporarily moved to Europe, sold his car and refused to watch TV.
