Norman Reedus' Insane Fortune from 15 Years of The Walking Dead Unveiled

From humble beginnings, Norman Reedus has amassed a personal fortune reported to be in the region of $25 million. And a significant chunk of that came from his most famous role as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead.

Born in Hollywood, Florida, he first appeared on stage in the Tiffany Theater on Sunset Boulevard before transferring to the big screen in 1997 at the age of 28. He appeared in several films throughout the late 90s and early 00s, including Floating, Dark Harbor (alongside the late Alan Rickman) and Blade II.

His first TV role came in 2003 when he played Nate Parks in two episodes of the fantasy drama Charmed. There followed the obligatory appearance in Law and Order as he climbed the acting ladder. In Reedus’ case, this was the role of Derek Lord in the 2006 episode of Special Victims Unit entitled ‘Influence’.

Other roles followed, including the part of Detective Norman Reilly in American Gangster (2007). But it was in 2010 that he really hit the big time, playing Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead as well as landing the lead role as Lewis Payne in Robert Redford’s biopic The Conspirator.

Reedus would go on to appear in 148 episodes of the hit show. And he’s set to reprise the role in the upcoming spin-off series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – a series in which he’s combined the lead role with that of executive producer.

The role of Daryl Dixon has also seen Reedus portrayed in video games. The obvious one is The Walking Dead, but he’s also been recreated in Fortnite Battle Royale and State of Survival.

And he’s teamed up with some pretty big rock stars, appearing in music videos for The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, Lady Gaga and Marilyn Manson.

Between 1998 and 2003, Reedus was in a relationship with supermodel Helena Christensen. The couple have a son, Mingus Lucius Reedus, who followed in his mother's footsteps as a model. Norman is still on good terms with Helena and sees his son regularly.

These days, though, the actor is in a relationship with German actor Diane Kruger who he met while they were filming Sky together in 2015. The couple have a daughter together, Nova, born in 2018.

And judging by Reedus’ bank balance you’d have to imagine both his kids are set for life financially.
