For a moment there, fans of sci-fi, anime, and other popular genre projects got scared that Netflix would not be doing its annual Geeked Week in 2023.
However, the platform has dispelled any doubts by announcing the start of the countdown to the event.
What is Geeked Week?
Never heard of the term before? Well, it's pretty simple. Geeked Week is a Netflix event that, as the title suggests, lasts for seven days, during which the studio live-streams and releases details about its current popular projects and highly anticipated upcoming ones.
Viewers get treated to a first look at their cherished characters and fictional universes, casting news, production commencement announcements, information about premiere dates, and more.
When And Where Will Geeked Week 2023 Take Place?
Geeked Week is scheduled for November 6-12, with thousands of people tuning in daily for live streams and new promo content on tudum.com and all official social media accounts, including Facebook, X, TikTok, and Instagram.

Stranger Things Day. Updates from the Upside Down will continue throughout the day. Fans are hoping for news about the start of production on the final season and the new projects that will expand the universe.

Surprise announcements about popular movies and shows throughout the day. The following projects may be mentioned: Blue Eye Samurai, Code 8: Part 2, Devil May Cry, Exploding Kittens, Gyeongseong Creature, Masters of the Universe: Revolution, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Obliterated, Onmyoji, Sonic Prime, Squid Game: The Challenge, The Archies, The Brothers Sun, The Legend of Lara Croft / Tomb Raider, Ultraman and others.

PowerHouse Animation. Exclusive promotional videos, teasers, and breaking news from 3 Body Problem, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Leave the World Behind. The latter two projects are coming to Netflix in December; 3 Body Problem has yet to have its premiere date announced.

Exclusive promotional videos, teasers, and news from One Piece, Damsel, and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. One Piece fans will likely get Season 1 companion material, while the other two projects have yet to have their release dates confirmed.

Live Stream Exclusive with Rebel Moon's Zack Snyder. Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire arrives on Netflix on December 22. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver will follow on April 19, 2024.
