Legacies Stars: From Mystic Falls to Stardom — Where Are They Now?
It looks like Legacies made a lot of actors question their career paths.
The Vampire Diaries was one of the most popular shows The CW ever produced, so it's no wonder that the network decided to capitalize on the success of the teen vampire series by producing a whole slew of spin-offs.
And while The Originals proved to be quite a hit, the third show in the franchise, Legacies, turned out to be a bitter disappointment, ending in 2022 with its fourth season.
You may be wondering, what are the stars of the series doing now?
Of the six main cast members of Legacies, only three are still pursuing acting, which may sound a bit strange to people who know nothing about the show. In fact, almost every actor who starred in the series was a newcomer, and the huge amount of fame they were exposed to really changed their minds about their future in the industry.
For example, both Danielle Rose Russell and Jenny Boyd decided to take a sabbatical from acting after the end of Legacies and have not appeared in any shows or movies since then. Of course, the actresses can still return to claim their fame again, but it looks like Russell's Hollywood career is already over, as she hasn't posted on her social media accounts since January 2021.
In addition, Quincy Fouse also decided to say goodbye to acting, but for a different reason — since the end of Legacies, Fouse has been pursuing his music career, trying to make it big in the competitive music industry.
On the other hand, Peyton Alex Smith decided to stay with The CW and is currently starring in the series All American: Homecoming. Kaylee Bryant also keeps busy doing a number of projects every year, and fans are hoping that her role in the upcoming horror film Spin the Bottle will really push the actress into the mainstream.
Aria Shahghasemi has not appeared in any projects since the end of Legacies, but it looks like the actor is already plotting his comeback, signing on to star in a TV miniseries The Snag, which will combine the criminal world and the bustling New York restaurant scene.
