Kit Connor & Joe Locke Set Pics Spoil Major Heartstopper Season 3 Scene
The popular scene from the comics made it into the show.
With the monumental success of Netflix's Heartstopper Season 2, fans were not at all surprised to hear that the streaming giant has already begun filming Season 3, as premiering new installments on an annual basis is incredibly important to keeping the momentum of this LGBTQ+ romantic series alive.
And even though fans weren't expecting any major spoilers during the filming process, as Netflix is notorious for refusing to share any details about its future projects, one paparazzi managed to defy expectations.
In the recently released pictures, Kit Connor and Joe Locke can be seen standing in the middle of a dimly lit street, with Kit fully clothed while Joe was only wearing a bathrobe. While this scene may not seem all that important to casual Heartstopper fans, longtime readers of the original comics have been enthralled by it from the beginning.
The beloved scene
The thing is, fans have long wondered if Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman would include an iconic run-after-shower scene in the upcoming Season 3, as the sight of Nick running after Charlie right out of the shower is something all fans want to see in live action.
And although Kit was seen wearing a hoodie and joggers during filming, that doesn't mean the producers decided to exclude nudity from the scene, as Kit has been seen wearing that very outfit during some rehearsals over the past two years.
It looks like Kit and Joe were just rehearsing in those pictures, and the scene where Nick runs out almost naked to catch Charlie in the street was shot a little later.
While it's still just a theory, the fandom is dead certain that the beloved moment from the original graphic novels will finally appear in live action in Season 3, which really speaks volumes about how strongly Oseman feels about translating her work to the screen.
Fans have been effusive in their praise of the show's creators, commending them for taking the risk to include the steamy episode in the show, even though many of them initially thought it would never make it into live action.
