Khloe Kardashian vs. Jamie Foxx: The Celebrity Feud You Never Knew About
Jamie managed to upset Khloe quite a bit back in the day.
While the Kardashians are known for their constant beefs with major celebrities, it's rare that they actually stand up for the right things, as most of those feuds are just meant to generate hype for the star family.
Last year, the Kardashians disavowed Kanye West's racial slurs, making it clear that they'll never tolerate bullying, even if the person in question has long been a part of their clan.
A few years earlier, Khloe Kardashian had a beef with Jamie Foxx, and though the incident there was not as straightforward as Kanye West's remarks, the cause for the feud was quite noble.
Foxx has always been considered a bit controversial when it comes to his comedy routines, so when the star was announced as the host of the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards, many celebrity guests were dreading his hurtful jokes. And Foxx didn't disappoint, lampooning Suge Knight, Robin Thicke, Pharrell, and even the late Marvin Gaye, but it was one of his other jokes that really left people gasping in disbelief.
At the time, Caitlyn Jenner was just beginning her transition and was still going by Bruce, so Foxx decided to make some jokes about the athlete.
'We got some groundbreaking performances here, too, tonight. We got Bruce Jenner, who will be here doing some musical performances. He's doing a his-and-her duet all by himself,' Foxx quipped.
Obviously, this joke is in very bad taste, but it looks like Khloe took it a little too personally and called it a low blow. As you would expect, fans of the Kardashians immediately began bombarding the actor with accusations of transphobia.
Some claim that Khloe's criticism was a bit much, as Foxx was simply roasting people before the show, just like any other host would do. Despite all the resentment from the Kardashians and their fans, the star hasn't apologized for his joke, calling it something he can support with his heart as a comedian.
'If you can't be joked about, then you're not allowed to laugh about anyone else's jokes. And you can't take my comedic license. If I do go over, I know when it's an apology,' Jamie Foxx explained.
Fortunately, it looks like the whole beef has been forgotten and no one is holding a grudge.
