Jared Fields Blames an Unlikely Person for His Big Brother Exit
The standout contestant was eliminated yet again.
Although Big Brother has undeniably waned in popularity over the years, with many other reality shows capitalizing on its successful formula and siphoning off a significant portion of its audience, it still retains a dedicated viewership. After all, this is the show that kicked off the reality competition phenomenon back in 2000.
The current season is turning out to be one of the most gripping installments of Big Brother in recent memory, largely due to a vibrant and engaging roster of contestants.
And the most promising of this season's contestants was definitely Jared Fields, the son of Survivor and Big Brother legend Cirie Fields, who also joined the competition alongside him. Fans were optimistic that the mother-son duo would last until the final stages, but their journey was cut short when Jared was ousted earlier than anticipated..
The Comeback
Although Jared was convinced his time in the Big Brother house had ended, the producers threw a curveball by reintroducing him and Cameron Hardin as zombies. To the surprise of many, both Jared and his arch-rival Cameron re-entered the fray. However, history repeated itself for Jared, with him getting eliminated again, while Cameron held his ground and remained in competition for the grand prize.
The crux of the matter is that Jared faltered in the Resurrection Rumble, whereas Cameron excelled, securing his position. Nonetheless, Jared believes his strategy wasn't the only reason for his elimination; he feels the other contestants actively sabotaged him.
'That being Cory, Jag, Matt, and definitely Mama Felicia. As much as I love them, I feel like they played a huge part in the downfall of my game. Obviously, Jag and Matt pretty much were the Knights to secure that loss for me at the end. But without Mama Felicia and Cory driving that into their heads, I don't think that my game would've went that way,' Jared said.
While fans are skeptical about Jared's claims, believing he would've been voted out regardless of other players' machinations, many were taken aback by his mention of Mama Felicia as a catalyst for his eviction, given how the two seemed to be on very good terms with each other.
