Fans are worried about the future of the popular spin-off starring Christopher Meloni.

For over 20 years, Dick Wolf's Law & Order franchise has run like a well-oiled machine, giving fans well-developed seasons of the main series and its spin-offs every year.

And while SVU is still in great shape, it looks like Organized Crime, starring Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler, has seen better days, as the spin-off show looks like a total nightmare behind the scenes.

As recently revealed by Deadline, showrunner Sean Jablonski has left the series in the middle of its third season, citing creative differences as the reason for his departure.

This news came as a shock to both TV professionals and fans, especially since Organized Crime had lost four of its showrunners in just one year. Yes, you read that right — four of the show's most important people left the series in less than 12 months, making the spin-off a truly cursed project to work on.

Jablonski left the show just three episodes from the end of the season, which is certainly very strange. Many fans argue that the showrunner shouldn't have left Organized Crime without a leader for the final stretch of season three, but it looks like the creative differences were so massive, Jablonski simply couldn't continue working on the project.

However, the nature of those differences has not yet been revealed, and fans are wondering if Jablonski was at odds with Wolf or with Meloni, as they are the only people who could really cause the showrunner to leave his position.

While Wolf, being the show's producer and creator, is more likely to be the person behind the differences, some fans believe that Meloni is a bit underwhelmed with how his character is being developed — and that could have been the cause of an argument with Jablonski.

NBC has already named SVU showrunner David Graziano as Jablonski's replacement for the foreseeable future, and viewers are worried that Graziano's notorious penchant for bullying his employees on set (according to a recent LA Times article) could lead to his firing in the coming weeks, continuing the curse of Organized Crime.
