Is There Any Chance for Barry Williams to Actually Win DWTS Season 32?
The popular contestant wowed us with his second dance.
The 32nd season of Dancing with the Stars kicked off with a bit of controversy as fans were appalled by the judges' decision to eliminate actor and comedian Matt Walsh, who was clearly a better dancer than either Harry Jowsey or Tyson Beckford. However, fans were quickly reassured by another contestant who became the most popular contestant after just a few dances.
We are talking about The Brady Bunch actor Barry Williams, who surprised the audience with his impressive dancing skills and impeccable sense of humor, even though most fans were sure that the 69-year-old actor would not last long in the competition.
A promising start
After once again proving to be a formidable opponent during Latino Week, Barry and his dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd are confident about the future of the competition, even though the judges completely undermined their performance, giving them only 16 points instead of the 20 that fans were expecting.
However, this season's line-up looks very strong and fans are beginning to wonder if Barry and Peta have what it takes to make it to the finale.
A strong opposition
After the first two episodes, it has become clear which couples the judges really like, and for some inexplicable reason, Barry and Peta are not one of them. Right now, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev look like the frontrunners of the season, and it's not hard to see why.
All of the aforementioned couples are quite young and physically capable of pulling off the craziest moves on the dance floor, which certainly gives them an edge over Barry and Peta, as the actor clearly cannot compete with young folks like Xochitl and Ariana.
At this point, we are confident that Xochitl will be the one to take home the trophy, even though Barry is certainly much more beloved by the fans. Unfortunately, Barry's age seems to be the biggest obstacle for him to reach the finale, but maybe the actor will surprise us all once again.
