Olivia Rodrigo is rightfully considered one of the brightest pop discoveries of the last few years, as her songs about breakups and her ex-boyfriends treating her badly have become a real cultural sensation for the audience.
However, even though Rodrigo still racks up tens of millions of streams a month, it looks like people are starting to get tired of hearing the same breakup songs from her over and over again, hoping that the singer would dedicate a song to something other than her broken heart.
When Rodrigo premiered her new single Vampire earlier this week, fans were sure that she would once again lash out at her exes, and they weren't wrong. In the song, the star laments that she wasted her time on a man who was much older than her and only dated her to climb the social ladder and use her fame to market himself, instead of trying to become famous on his own talent. Of course, fans immediately recognized Olivia's ex Zack Bia as the inspiration for the lyrics.
Zack Bia first came to prominence for hosting some posh LA parties during quarantine and hanging out with rapper Drake, using his money to buy himself seats near the most famous people in the world. But it wasn't until he started dating Rodrigo that he really became really famous, as many of the singer's fans began to follow his life quite closely.
However, the couple was unable to make their relationship work and called it quits after less than a year together. According to their representatives, Bia and Rodrigo split after realizing that they were not meant for each other, which suggested that their breakup was completely drama-free.
But despite the official explanation, Olivia's fans still hated Zack a lot, calling him a creep and power hunter who tampered with the singer's heart just to get some time in the spotlight. And now, the singer's new track seems to confirm this notion perfectly.
'I have no idea who he is but he's really creepy looking and not attractive at all and he's 26… while she's 19. She can do so much better and I say that with confidence,' one fan said.
