The iconic show is finally back.

While Cheers may be cited as the best sitcom of all time more often than any other show, its spin-off Frasier, which follows psychiatrist Kelsey Grammer's Frasier Crane, is actually much better than the original show in many ways.

This spin-off show seems more refined and mature, and focusing on one main character instead of a whole group of people like Cheers actually helps Frasier feel more coherent. The show ran for 11 stellar seasons from 1993 to 2004, and both critics and fans couldn't say anything bad about it during all those years.

And even though Grammer and other cast members have since moved on from their characters, the long-rumored revival is apparently coming much sooner than expected. Earlier this week, Paramount+ released a teaser for the Frasier reboot, and fans of the original were ecstatic to hear Grammer's iconic voice again.

The show is set to be released on October 12, less than two months from now. Longtime fans of the original series will have no problem following the events of the revival, as the two decades since the finale have given them plenty of time to watch and re-watch the show. But how will new fans of Frasier be able to catch up with the story in such a short time?

Thanks to basic math, it's clear that viewers who want to invest time in catching up with Frasier before the sequel premieres will have to watch five episodes of the show every day starting today. Binging 11 seasons in a row is certainly a daunting task for many people out there, as devoting 2.5 hours a day to watching a series is not as easy as it may sound.

In any case, fans who are willing to spend that much time with Frasier and other characters will surely not be disappointed, as the exceptional quality of the sitcom makes it the first choice for binge-watching. And there's no doubt the upcoming revival will reward patient viewers with a few cameos, Easter eggs, and references to the original.
