Dylan O'Brien's Nude Scene In HBO's The Other Two Blows Up the Internet
It looks like the Teen Wolf actor is ready to start his career all over again.
Since the end of the Maze Runner franchise, Dylan O'Brien has practically vanished from public view, only appearing briefly in supporting roles in minor movies and TV series.
Millions of his fans are quite angry about it, saying that the actor could easily become the new Hollywood leading man but for some reason chose to compromise his career by staying away from hit shows and blockbusters.
However, there may be a good reason behind the actor's strange career choices. It looks like Dylan is reworking his professional image now, trying to distance himself as much as possible from his Teen Wolf and Maze Runner persona — and his latest cameo proves this perfectly.
In the third season of HBO Max's show The Other Two, fans were stunned to see Dylan O'Brien guest-starring as himself in a staged Zoom call.
The Teen Wolf alum was shown discussing his possible involvement in a project created by the show's main characters, but the audition didn't go as planned. Apparently, O'Brien forgot his laptop camera was on and decided to strip naked and take a shower in front of the surprised characters.
Needless to say, fans loved this scene to death.
'Forget the Emmys, give The Other Two a Nobel Peace Prize for having Dylan O'Brien appear as himself just so he can take a shower on screen. Lives will be saved,' one viewer wrote on Twitter.
Fans fell in love with Dylan all over again, arguing that not every actor could sign on for such a self-deprecating cameo — many of Hollywood's giant egos would not even think about accepting such a role. But O'Brien wasn't bothered by that idea and continued in the vein of his recent cameo on Curb Your Enthusiasm, proving that he doesn't consider himself a diva at all.
As much as they loved seeing him in The Other Two, fans of the actor hope that he'll soon appear in more prominent roles in addition to supporting ones. While cameos are great, they don't really steal the spotlight from the main characters, and O'Brien definitely deserves a big hit for himself too.
