The singer isn't as 'crazy' as she 'used to be' to tour.

As Harry Styles has just wrapped up his Love On Tour and Taylor Swift continues to dazzle audiences with her Eras Tour, other singers are opting for a more peaceful existence, and Miley Cyrus seems to be among them.

The Grammy-nominated artist has had a diverse career. Miley Cyrus started out as a child actor, starring in the Disney series Hannah Montana. Later, she participated in other Disney projects like The Suite Life on Deck and made guest appearances in Two and a Half Men. At the same time, she pursued her musical aspirations, achieving significant success. From 2016 to 2017, Miley served as a coach on The Voice, mentoring contestants during two seasons of the talent show.

2023: A Prolific Year for Miley

In 2023, Miley Cyrus grabbed headlines on multiple occasions. She kicked off the year by releasing her single Flowers in January. The track instantly made a splash, with artists worldwide, including Joker Out, this year's Eurovision representative for Slovenia, covering it.

In March, Cyrus unveiled her album, Endless Summer Vacation. More recently, she dropped another single, Used to Be Young, haunting us with its poignant message. Despite her album's release, however, Miley has no immediate tour plans.

TikTok Autobiography Series

In her TikTok autobiography series dedicated to her new song, Miley explains that many people don't understand how demanding tours can be.

'If you're performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest,' the singer points out.

Miley toured briefly in 2022, and it's not because she's lazy that she's not touring with her new album. The real reasons for her hiatus are her mental health and artistic commitment.

'Having every day the relationship between you and other humans, being subject and observer, isn't healthy for me because it erases my humanity and my connection [to the world and people], and without my humanity and my connection I can't be a songwriter which is my priority,' Miley reveals in the series.
