Disney+ Just Changed the Game for Hulu and ESPN Subscribers
Disney+ is getting a facelift that pulls Hulu, ESPN, and more into a tighter, unified feed, reshaping how top content is surfaced for a smoother bundle experience.
Disney is rearranging the furniture inside Disney+, and if you pay for the bundle, your home screen is about to look a lot more crowded — in a good way.
What changed inside Disney+
Disney just rolled out a refreshed top navigation for Disney+ that puts Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN side by side. If you subscribe to the bundle, you can jump between those hubs right from the main menu instead of opening separate apps. Previously, those top tabs were mostly franchise silos — Marvel, Star Wars, and so on. Those are still around, but now sports folks can get to the ESPN section without leaving Disney+.
There is also a new 'For You' page that pulls together stuff you tend to watch — think of it as a catch-all hub for your usual favorites and recommendations. Disney even dropped a promo spot showing off the new layout, so this is not a small tweak — it is them priming everyone for a bigger shift.
Why this matters
This is one more step toward Disney putting everything under one roof. The company has already said it plans to retire the standalone Hulu app and move to a single Disney+ app that carries all the programming under one subscription. Putting the Hulu and ESPN hubs in the Disney+ header makes that future feel pretty close.
Yes, prices went up too
This interface news lands just weeks after Disney and Hulu prices climbed on October 23, 2025. Here is where things stand now:
- Disney+/Hulu bundle (with ads): $11.99 (was $9.99)
- Disney+ Premium (no ads): $18.99 (was $15.99)
- Hulu standalone (with ads): $11.99 (was $9.99)
- Hulu + Live TV: $89.99 (was $82.99)
Bottom line: Disney+ is becoming the front door for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN, with a friendlier 'For You' hub to keep you from digging through menus. And if you have been waiting for everything to live inside one app, this is the clearest sign yet that Disney is almost there — price hikes and all.
