Fans seem to be confident that Carolyne is going to win this season by a landslide.

While Survivor Season 44 might not be the series' crowning achievement, fans have found some redeeming qualities about it, with contestants Yamil 'Yam Yam' Arocho and Carolyn Wiger often cited as the season's saving grace.

Both beloved members of the Tika tribe have captivated viewers, turning every challenge and voting ceremony into a must-watch event. But it appears Carolyn has a slight edge over Yamil in terms of winning the season. Here's why.

Carolyn initially seemed like just another contestant blending into the background, but she quickly won over fans with her unabashed eccentricity, magnetic charisma, and uncanny ability to read people, making her a formidable player. Importantly, Carolyn has never shown disdain for her fellow competitors and has remained loyal to her friends in the game while remaining genuinely engaging and relatable at all times.

‘She is for sure one of my favourite people they’ve cast in any season. She’s so funny without trying and I find her personality endearing, she seems to be protective of people she cares about and her love for life shown in the last episode where she talked about just swimming in the sea and putting crab shells in her hair was so infectious,’ a fan observed.

Even though some viewers remained unconvinced about Carolyn's potential to win the season, even after she revealed her immunity idol to save her friend Carson Garrett from elimination, she managed to totally win over the majority of the fans when she confessed to Jeff Probst that was annoyed with him. Now, the consensus among most fans is that Carolyn has to win Season 44.

For years, fans have been pushing CBS to find a new host, arguing that Probst's best days are behind him and that his continued presence is dragging the show down. Hearing Carolyn say it to Jeff Probst's face was a refreshing surprise for the fandom.

In theory, if Carolyn was to come out on top this season, CBS might ask her to take over from Probst as the show's new host. The fans would certainly be on board with such a move.
