It looks like the beloved Captain is not retiring just yet.

Since the first season of Bravo's Below Deck premiered in 2013, Captain Lee Rosbach has been the beating heart of the franchise, leading the superyacht crews season after season and drawing millions of viewers to the show. However, Season 10 proved to be a hard one for the captain, as Lee's health issues forced him to skip a number of episodes, and Bravo consequently announced that he would not be returning for the upcoming Season 11.

Following the announcement, the Below Deck fandom was devastated and wondered if the show could even go on without the beloved captain. But, much to everyone's surprise, Lee recently revealed that he is continuing his partnership with the network, taking part in some other shows that may or may not be connected to Below Deck.

'We've got two or three projects that are in the works. One of them should be coming out pretty soon. I'm excited to do it. I really am. I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I've got some great people that I'm going to be working with. No, I won't tell you who they are,' Captain Lee said.

It looks like Lee will be staying with Bravo for a while, making fans happy even though none of them know anything about the content of those upcoming projects. Many assume that the Captain will once again headline a reality show, but some people aren't so sure about it, arguing that Lee is more likely to star in an internet show, a talk show, or even a podcast due to his health issues.

'I think he would be great on Galley Talk with Kate. I would rather just watch the two of them do the whole thing than most of the people on there,' one fan said.

Other fans seem to be more keen on a Below Deck-centered spin-off starring Captain Lee alongside other cast members of the beloved reality series.

'I stand by my prediction that it's going to be a show following him, Kate, Ben, and other Below Deck alums around in their lives and Captain Lee plays patriarch a la Lisa Vanderpump on VPR,' a fan suggested.

It's be great to see if some of these fan predictions turn out to be true! For now, we're waiting for more announcements from Bravo and Captain Lee himself.
