It looks like Lisa has another career perspective in mind.

After BTS went on hiatus to allow its members to complete their mandatory military service, BLACKPINK became the world's leading K-pop band, enjoying sold-out tours and millions of streams for every new song they release. However, it looks like the members of the hit girl band are a little tired of K-pop's strictness and want to restart their careers in Western countries instead.

The thing is, Korean producers are really controlling the young idols, forbidding them from drinking, partying and appearing in public in the revealing outfits that many Western pop stars do on a regular basis. The girls obviously want to experience new things and it looks like Lisa was the first to really shock the Korean public and the K-Pop industry with her latest project.

An unexpected production

Early last week, during Paris Fashion Week, Lisa publicly debuted her brand new show at the iconic Crazy Horse Cabaret, the home of burlesque and nudity. While no videos or photos of the performance have been released, it is known that Lisa danced and sang alongside over girls, all of whom were partially nude.

Needless to say, K-pop fans were shocked to learn of this, as the subject of cabaret has been tabooed among Korean artists since the genre emerged in the country. But with Lisa challenging the conservative world of K-pop with her cabaret piece, perhaps the entire industry will change in the coming months.

Lisa is ready for more

With such an unexpected career move, Lisa has boldly voiced her dissatisfaction with K-pop, indicating that she is ready to leave her mark on the Western scene by taking bold and even controversial career paths.

Just like her fellow BLACKPINK member Jennie, Lisa may try to launch her acting career in Hollywood, probably spending more time looking for a suitable role than her colleague, as repeating Jennie's awful time on HBO's The Idol is not something Lisa wants to do.

Let's hope that the video fixation of Lisa's Cabaret performance will be released in the near future!
