When it was announced that BTS would be lending their likeness to a Korean webtoon, a digital comic created specifically for reading on smartphones, millions of the band's fans were eager to learn more about the project. And now that it's officially out, it looks like BTS' success in music has translated perfectly to comics.

5. The plot is unique

Even though most fans expected to get a closer look at the members of BTS in the webtoon, the comic managed to surprise readers by inviting them into a dystopian megapolis where seven young men fight against evil forces to bring light to the doomed world. Yes, 7Fates has nothing to do with BTS, and that makes it unique and compelling.

4. The dystopian world is rich in detail

While the authors of the webtoon could have easily chosen to create a banal storyline to cash in on BTS's success, they didn't, and instead put a lot of passion into the world of the futuristic and corrupt city known as Sin-si, making it a perfect place for heroes to run free.

All seven main characters look like BTS members, but that's not all, as each of them actually has a lot in common with their real-life counterparts, sharing the same personality traits and even manners.

Even though webtoons are made for smartphones, which means that most of the art is quite simple and quick to read, 7Fates really managed to surprise with the quality of its art, as it looks rich in detail, accomplished and downright beautiful.
