Some contestants not only fell in love while filming the popular reality show but also chose to share their lives with each other.

CBS's hit reality show, featuring a group of individuals surviving in total wilderness, remains one of the biggest shows of its kind, owing to its enthralling premise of observing people revert to their primal state.

However, several contestants maintained their composure throughout the season, met their partners during filming, and—unlike certain well-known reality dating shows—have remained together ever since.

Here are the five longest-lasting Survivor couples:

5. Tyson Apostol and Rachel Foulger – 9 years

These contestants from Survivor: Blood vs. Water (2013) met on one of the franchise's most cherished instalments and have flourished since, welcoming two daughters after tying the knot in 2015.

4. Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan – 11 years

The Survivor: South Pacific stars met in 2011 and promptly fell in love, despite Whitney being married when they began dating. Nevertheless, it must have been love at first sight, seeing how they have been together for over a decade and recently had their first child!

3. Erik Huffman and Jaime Dugan-Huffman – 15 years

The contestants from the 2007 China season met whilst filming and have been relishing family life together ever since. Although the couple maintains a low profile, fans follow their social media pages largely because of their adorable son, Harper.

2. Kim Powers and Alex Bell – 17 years

This Survivor power couple never actually appeared in the same season, with Kim participating in season three and Alex in season six. However, they met through the show, got married, and adopted a daughter, all thanks to Survivor!

1. Amber Brkich and ‘Boston’ Rob Mariano – 19 years

The stars of Survivor: All-Stars astonished the world in 2003 when Rob proposed to the winner, Amber, right before the cameras. Far from being merely a publicity stunt, the couple have been together ever since and today have four daughters.
