With Disney Night just around the corner, it's time to share some predictions.

American Idol Season 21 has already proven to be one of the best seasons of the hit reality show in recent years, as both the contestants and the judges have been on top of their game, and the upcoming Disney Night can prove to be the highlight of the entire season.

Now that the setlist for the next episode has been revealed, we have five predictions for how the much-anticipated Disney Night will go.

Iam is going to destroy the competition

Hawaii's Iam Tongi is already considered a frontrunner this season, and it looks like Disney Night could put him even further ahead of the competition, as his song choices are simply too great for him to fail. Iam will be singing 'Lava' and Cat Stevens' 'Father and Son,' and both of these songs fit perfectly with his soft acoustic vibe, which goes over well with the judges and fans. Get ready for Iam to steal the spotlight!

People will be angry about the inclusion of one song

Even though Iam will totally kill with his rendition of 'Father and Son,' people will likely be upset that the song from The Guardians of the Galaxy is included in the Disney Night setlist at all. Although Marvel Studios is a part of Disney, fans feel that including songs from superhero movies is cheating because they do not really share the Disney feel.

Megan's song is perfect for her

Not only did Iam hit the jackpot with his song choice, but Megan Danielle's decision to sing 'You Can't Stop the Girl' from Maleficent sounds like a match made in heaven.

Bebe Rexha's hit is ripe with interesting vocal melodies, and Megan's incredible voice will have a perfect range. Hopefully, the singer will sway the judges with this complex song!

Zachariah might bore the audience

Zachariah is often described as a rather one-note performer who has already found his niche and refuses to experiment, preferring to stick to his usual song choices, and it looks like Disney Night won't force him to change his approach. He will sing 'Just Can't Wait to be King' from Lion King and 'Life is a Highway' from Cars, and both of these songs fit Zachariah's style so well that fans will probably sleep in their seats, listening to him singing in the same style again.

It will be the best Disney night ever

Seeing the full setlist for Disney Night revealed one important thing — the producers are finally ready to evolve their show, as the songs of this edition feel much fresher than the past ones and most of the tunes will make their American Idol debut this Sunday.

Get ready for an incredible night, as the contestants are sure to make the next episode a spectacle to remember!

American Idol Season 21 Episode 18 will arrive on ABC on May 14, 2023.
