3 Relationships The CW's All American Fans Wish Never Happened, Ranked
The sports drama had its share of bad pairings.
All American has been a pretty popular show since its premiere in 2018, but it wasn't until last year that the sports drama became a real savior for The CW, as all of the network's other popular series were either canceled or were expected to end soon. With that in mind, writers began to pay much more attention to turning the project into a solid hit, but some of the flops along the way were very hard to avoid.
Here are three All American romances fans wish had never happened.
3. Chris and Olivia
While Chris and Olivia seemed like a perfectly normal couple during their time on the show, fans still had one huge problem with them. People simply hated the way the writers decided to break them up by having Chris dump Olivia over a text after he was forced to spend a lot of time recovering from a broken back.
It was clear that the actor was simply unavailable for filming, and fans took it personally that the creators failed to make Chris break up with his girlfriend in a more meaningful way.

2. Spencer and Layla
Although Spencer and Layla seemed madly in love at the beginning of the show, their romance went completely sideways after the girl suffered a major mental breakdown.
But instead of helping her, Spencer fell in love with her best friend Olivia and kept it a secret right until he decided to dump Layla for good. Needless to say, fans hated the writers' idea and accused them of ruining Spencer as a character.
1. Jordan and Simone
Jordan and Simone were the most beautiful couple on the show, loving and caring for each other. That's why fans started to hate them so much the moment they split up because it really broke people's hearts to see two people who were made for each other start living their separate lives.
But the thing is, Jordan and Simone just outgrew each other, and the writers actually did the right thing by breaking them up without any drama, as this kind of breakup seemed mature and appropriate.
