20 Years Ago, Bridget Fonda Quit Acting; Now, She's Unrecognizable
Fans are amazed at how much the star has changed in the last 20 years.
Bridget Fonda was one of the most promising actresses of the 1990s. She starred in a number of cult films, such as Jackie Brown, Single White Female, and A Simple Plan, making her father Peter Fonda and aunt Jane Fonda, both distinguished Hollywood actors, proud of her achievements.
Unfortunately, Bridget's career was cut short by a horrific car accident in the early 2000s, forcing her to retire from acting and focus on her family life with her husband, composer Danny Elfman. The actress shied away from public appearances, but a few of her recent pictures resurfaced, causing quite a stir among fans.
Page Six recently obtained the photographs, which show Bridget Fonda running errands in the LA area. People were shocked to see the former actress without makeup and in baggy clothes and wondered why she had changed her look so drastically over the years. Some fans weren't even sure if it was actually her in the pictures, saying that the star looks nothing like she used to in their favorite films.
However, it is definitely Bridget in these photos, as several sources have proven. Fans are a little worried that the paparazzi are still following the star even though she wants to be left alone and has not appeared in public with her husband for the last 12 years.
Before seeing the pictures, people were concerned for Fonda, wondering if the actress was able to cope with the effects of the accident.
And fortunately, although the photos depict her in a less than complimentary way, Bridget is clearly smiling in them and seems to be enjoying herself — so it looks like the star is happy with her life and not even thinking about her days starring in Hollywood's biggest productions.
All in all, fans were happy to get an update on the life of their beloved actress, and they still hope to see Danny Elfman and Bridget Fonda on a red carpet for some future premieres, as the couple is widely known as one of the strongest in Hollywood.
