Young Sheldon Season 6 Finale Prediction: What's in Store for Georgie?
Will Georgie pop the question again?
With only a couple of episodes left until the Young Sheldon Season 6 finale scheduled to air on May 18, the sitcom has already teased what viewers can expect from one of its main characters, George Cooper Jr. aka Georgie.
Whatever comes next, Georgie has had an eventful season. After learning of his girlfriend Mandy's pregnancy last season, he finally became a father in Episode 14 and is now adjusting to his new role.
Both he and Mandy are doing their best to be the parents their daughter Constance deserves. But will they become a real family?
That is the question posed in Episode 18, which aired last week. While hanging out with his girlfriend and taking care of their daughter, Georgie gave in to impulse and popped the question of marriage, something he had been meaning to do for quite some time.
However, either because it was so sudden or because the situation was anything but romantic, Mandy was not impressed with the proposal and said no. Georgie could have asked her to order pizza with the same tone!
This led to an argument, which in turn resulted in an understanding between the two. Mandy explained that she was not totally against marriage, but Georgie had just caught her off guard. She also made him agree to never drop a serious thing like that on her without warning.
The fact that the couple talked through their misunderstanding and managed to come to an agreement led many fans to believe that there would be another proposal in the Season 6 finale. Georgie has grown as a character, and it only makes sense that he would soon organize a big romantic proposal that Mandy wouldn't say no to.
After all, a nice romantic scene and a 'yes' would be a great way to end the season. Both the characters and viewers of Young Sheldon deserve good news and sweet moments like this before the show moves on to George Sr.'s cheating incident and subsequent death, which was spoiled by The Big Bang Theory.
Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 19 is scheduled to air on May 4, 2023, on CBS.
