The actor is ready to take the next step in his career.

While Netflix's The Witcher has been a massive disappointment with each new season, the show can still be commended for one thing — finding and casting promising actors whose faces help to make the fantasy project feel a little more special. And without a doubt, Eamon Farren's performance as Cahir aka the Black Knight is the crown jewel of the whole show, as this up-and-coming actor has managed to perfectly embody the menacing character.

And now, after three years of filming the show, it looks like Farren is ready for the next step, taking on the villain role in a new Netflix thriller.

In the film titled T.I.M., the actor plays a domestic robot that looks and acts like a human, but is controlled by a computer. While many other movies and shows have already tackled the theme, the Netflix thriller promises to give fans an interesting take on what the future may look like, exploring the idea of a robotic servant starting to take over its human masters' life.

Eamon Farren looks impressively intimidating in the film, even though he doesn't wear any makeup and looks just like a normal person. By acting without any of the easily recognizable human facial expressions, the actor really sells the viewer on the idea that he might actually be an artificial creation, which makes his performance and the whole story truly terrifying.

While Farren has been acting for quite some time, even playing one of the lead roles in Twin Peaks: The Return as Richard Horne, it looks like T.I.M. might be the title that finally puts him in the spotlight, as this small-budget Netflix feature has all the makings of a hit.

The idea of seeing The Witcher's Black Knight playing an android trying to steal a man's wife sounds just crazy enough to attract a decent audience, which proves that Netflix's producers made the right decision in snagging the rights to premiere T.I.M. in the UK.

The movie is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
