If you're holding off on Jurassic World Rebirth until you can watch it from your couch—preferably with the ability to pause when the CGI gets exhausting—you're not alone.

Despite being the seventh film in the franchise and the fourth "Jurassic World" installment, this one somehow pulled in over $318 million globally since opening on July 2. Dinosaurs may be extinct, but franchise fatigue clearly isn't.

Still, given the film's 52% Rotten Tomatoes score, plenty of people are deciding not to risk full-price tickets for what sounds like yet another run-through of the whole "humans messing with dino science" thing. So when can you stream it?

Here's what we know (or can safely assume):

Digital rental/purchase (Amazon, Apple TV, etc.):

  • Expect it around August 5, about a month after theatrical release.
  • This window could stretch slightly if the box office keeps printing money.

Streaming on Peacock:

  • Universal movies typically hit Peacock 49 to 120 days after release.
  • Jurassic World Dominion landed there after 102 days, so this one likely follows suit.
  • Translation: look for it on Peacock in late October.

Streaming on Prime Video (eventually):

  • Thanks to Universal's existing deal, it'll leave Peacock after a few months and head to Prime Video for 10 months, before bouncing back to Peacock for another four.

All of this is, of course, subject to change, delay, or the whims of whatever Comcast's content team feels like doing this fall. But if you're in no rush, the dinosaur stampede should be hitting your TV sometime around Halloween.

Here's the math, if you care:

  • Opening weekend: $318+ million global
  • Rotten Tomatoes score: 52%
  • Expected digital release: ~August 5
  • Expected Peacock debut: Late October
  • Prime Video window: 10 months, after Peacock's first run

So if you're hoping to stream Rebirth without stepping foot in a theater, just give it a few months. In the meantime, you can mentally prepare for more corporate villains, blood-harvesting plots, and at least one character whispering "nature finds a way" like it's never been said before.
